What is Singles Americano?

Solo Flight's classic name: the same rotating round-robin idea as badminton Americano, played 1v1 instead of doubles, with everyone facing everyone by the end of the session.

How is Solo Flight different from Round Robin?

Round Robin rotates doubles partners. Solo Flight has no partners at all: just a straight singles round robin, one court per two players instead of four.

How long do singles rounds take compared to doubles?

Longer than doubles at the same point target, since singles rallies run longer and there's more court for one player to cover. See the quick facts for the round-length estimate.

How many players do you need for Solo Flight?

As few as 2, scaling up to 100. Any count works, since there's no pairing constraint to satisfy.

How does scoring work in Solo Flight?

Same football-style scoring as every scheduled format: 2 points for a win, 0 for a loss. Beat an opponent rated higher than you and the win pays 3 instead of 2 — no penalty for beating someone rated lower.

Can I play singles without a fixed schedule?

Yes, that's Freebird, Robin's free-play mode: log 1v1 or 2v2 matches as you go, no rotation to follow. Solo Flight is the scheduled version, with everyone facing everyone once.

Can I add or remove players mid-session in Solo Flight?

Yes. The organizer re-balances from the party page: every future round redraws from a fresh rotation, while every round already played keeps its result exactly as scored.
