What is badminton Americano?

It's a social doubles format borrowed from padel. Partners rotate every round instead of staying fixed, and every rally you win adds to your own running total.

How many players do you need for Round Robin?

As few as 4, and Robin scales it up to 100. Any count works: multiples of 4 keep every court full every round, and other counts add a fair rotating rest for a few players each round.

How long does a Round Robin session take?

Each round at the default Official 21 scoring runs about 15 to 20 minutes, including a changeover. An 8-player, 2-court night plays 7 rounds: roughly 2 hours door to door.

Do partners repeat during the night?

No. The whole point of the rotation is that nobody partners the same player twice until every possible pairing has happened once.

How does Round Robin score matches?

Every win adds 2 points to the standings and a loss adds none, so more court time only ever helps you. Beat a side rated higher than yours and the win pays 3 points instead of 2 — beating a lower-rated side still pays the normal 2.

Can I add or remove players mid-session in Round Robin?

Yes. The organizer re-balances from the party page: every future round redraws from a fresh rotation, while every round already played keeps its result exactly as scored.
