What is badminton Mexicano?
A social doubles format from the padel world where court assignments rebuild each round: players are ranked by rally points won, courts group the closest four, and the 1st-ranked partners the 4th against the 2nd and 3rd.
How is Mexicano different from Americano?
Americano fixes the whole schedule up front so everyone partners everyone once. Mexicano re-deals every round from the live rally-point order, trading partner variety for consistently close matches between similar levels.
Do I need skill levels for Birds of a Feather?
No, they're optional. Without tags the first round is random and rally points sort things out within a round or two. With tags, even round one starts level-matched.
How many rounds does a Mexicano session run?
As many as you like. It's open-ended. The organizer advances rounds one at a time and finishes the party whenever the night is done. Most groups fit 6 to 8 rounds in a couple of hours.
Can I add or remove players mid-session in Mexicano?
Yes. The organizer re-balances from the party page. The round already in progress stays exactly as dealt, and the change takes effect from the next round on.
